The new-generation solid-state transformer (SST) adopts power electronic components and high-frequency magnetic cores and eliminates conventional iron cores and insulating oil. Suitable for photovoltaic energy storage, EV charging piles, data centers and other applications, it represents a new type of intelligent power distribution equipment.

The company was restructured from the former state-owned Yizheng Transformer Factory.The company is located in the Industrial Development Zone of Yuetang Town, Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, along the south bank of the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to the Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway (G40) to the south and the historic city of Yangzhou to the east.
