Rural Power Grid Upgrade Project in Hua County, Anyang, Henan

Location: Hua County, Anyang City, Henan Province (North Henan High-standard Grain Demonstration Zone)

Project Background: This area covers a large-scale contiguous farmland. The original outdated S9-type distribution transformers featured high power loss and poor voltage stabilization. During peak seasons for farmland irrigation and greenhouse operation, frequent voltage drop and tripping occurred, severely restricting agricultural production and residential power supply. A large-scale equipment renewal was urgently required.

Supplied Equipment: 72 sets of S13-M fully sealed energy-saving oil-immersed transformers, capacity ranging from 50kVA to 630kVA

Solutions: Adopting high-permeability cold-rolled silicon steel sheets and fully sealed corrugated tank structure, the transformers require no core lifting and daily maintenance. The no-load loss is reduced by over 23% compared with traditional S11 models, perfectly adapting to the intermittent and light-load operation characteristics of rural power grids. We supported phased delivery, on-site withstand voltage tests and project final acceptance in cooperation with local power supply bureaus.

Project Achievements: The renovation completely eliminated terminal voltage drop and peak-hour tripping issues, lowering the regional grid failure rate within 0.3%. Stable power supply for agricultural and residential use was fully guaranteed. We have signed a long-term framework procurement agreement with the local power company for subsequent rural grid expansion and renovation projects.
